The Red Voodoo Tour

To all who wonder, yes, Sammy did have his first show of the tour last night. The band kicked ass at Livestock 9 in Zephyrhills, FL.  Although due to the festival nature of the show, they didn't play as long as they would have liked, they still went over the 12:00 am curfew by over a half an hour.

The band sounded great.  Sammy just absolutely kicked ass!  He did so much guitar work and did almost all the solos.  He only didn't play guitar on a few songs.  It was pretty hard to hear Victor most the night, but when he played some solos, he sure did them with a punch.  Sammy took control of the whole show.  You could tell that he was ready to tour.  He had a lot of energy and was really enjoying himself.  During one part of the show, Sammy jumped up on to different sets of speakers until he was about 10 feet above the stage, and right in front of me.  The crowd loved it.  When sammy wasn't playing guitar, he was tearing up the stage in other ways, including 
drinking beer, and gulps of Cabo Wabo tequilla, while always making sure that the others in the band and those in the front row got there fair share.

Although I'm from near Chicago, I was sure enjoying the shows the female fans were putting on.  I have never seen as many bare breasted women at a concert in my entire life.  Sammy made a similar comment, and was loving the show being put on for him.  I've got to admit that Florida girls know how to have a good time.  Although I must give some credit to their help, amazing 44oz. cups of beer!
