What else can I say but that it was yet another STELLAR performance by Sammy & the Wabos! The sound of the band to me seemed to be a lot heavier, and I think this was due to the lack of Jesse's keyboards. While it was a very good sound, I must admit that Jesse was missed.
I didn't keep track of the setlist, but it was a very good mix of solo, VH, & Montrose stuff, with Sammy doing Dylan's "Everybody Must Get Stoned". I know from talking to others after the show that we were all VERY grateful to Sammy & the Wabos for doing a free show for his fans. I look forward to the opening of Taho-Wabo and plan on being there for the opening ceremonies in May.
On behalf of my friends and I, thank you Sammy for a great night!
